We've been taking our pets here for 16 years. That have always provided great care and friendly service. I'm not sure about price since we don't go anywhere else but seems reasonable
I've been with Columbus Vet for roughly 13 years and I can not say enough good things. I recently had my 13 year old yorkie diagnosed with Diabetes and was told to bring him to another emergency hospital in the area. I should of known better and went straight to Columbus but rushed him into the other one. They were all about money and preying on the vulnerability of how much I cherish my son!! I took him over to Columbus and not only was the cost 1/3 of what I was quoted at the other hospital but the staff and doctors care about your pet and know how much you love them. Thank you for all you do, whatever the outcome I feel safe and comforted knowing he is in such CAPABLE, LOVING HANDS!!!
I will always take my pets here. I've tried many places within 20 miles of my home, and this is the ONLY place that I trust. I know some people may complain that the wait to be seen is long. It's also a hospital and emergencies happen. You will still receive the same amazing service and will not be rushed out the door. The staff truly care about your pet and you can tell they want what is best for your pet.
I had to take my dog "Rocky" to the Columbus Veterinary Hospital yesterday Tuesday 8/29/17 for a severely torn nail on his front right paw. After he was seen we went to the front desk to ask for the paperwork and pay our bill. I had asked the first front end desk girl if it was ready and she said No so I waited for a bit the second seated front end desk girl went to the back and was away for around 7 to 8 minutes. When she got back I asked her if the paper work was ready thinking it might be. She turns to me and says this "Isn't it obvious!" I was taken aback at such rudeness, disrespect, and condescension! Not to mention the total bill for a torn nail was $351.87! Absolutely Outrageous! She then adds that "most of their clients already know that they are supposed to take a seat and wait for their name to be called for the bill/paperwork." It took alot for me not to engage her further launching this situation into a verbal fight. So I said to her I guess Ill go take a seat over there then. The negative attitude witnessed towards myself (Now an ex client) and this bill alone is enough to never go back nor refer them to any of my friends or family! This is my second visit the first being last month when I had to put my dog Emmy down due to Kidney Disease and that bill was $1,000+ change. The exact same person was once again rude to me so this isn't a simple isolated case of "maybe she's having a bad day" nope this is exactly HOW she is and also HOW she chooses to treat Columbus's clients! I strongly suggest she get an attitude adjustment PRONTO or they won't have any clients left to speak of due to her "OBVIOUS" lack of Professionalism and being ABSOLUTELY devoid of compassion! Sincerely, Mrs. Holly Sollecito
Very nice hospital. They only do the tests that are absolutely needed!
